Try Talking is a person-centred psychotherapy and psycho-educational provider working with individuals and organisations across the UK, both on a face-to-face and remote basis.

Try Talking has a vision for psychotherapy, counselling, mental health awareness and education being normalised and included, the mental health stigma being eradicated and individuals being supported professionally as and when needed.

Try Talking aims to connect with organisations through partnerships and deliver clinics and services where other providers wouldn’t, considering the convenience of services for clients and encouraging an open approach to mental health support.

our services

try talking therapy

Talking therapy (counselling) with Try Talking offers friendly and empathetic listeners, to support adults, young people and children to build and maintain healthy mental health.

Working with adults with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, confidence and feelings of being overwhelmed enabling them to build resilience and a healthy mental outlook to cope with life’s day-to-day challenges.

Also working with children or young people who have experienced significant change or loss, are having difficulties expressing their emotions or managing anger, alongside those who are anxious or struggling to fit in.

Life-changing events impact our identity and sense of who we are, potentially causing feelings of loss, instability and confusion, whatever the age.

These events can be voluntary, such as changing your career, or they can also be unplanned, such as an injury that prevents you pursuing the sport you love or a parental divorce, either way the change may take some getting used to.

The therapy offered at Try Talking will encourage clients to talk about what they are going through, explore feelings, thoughts and reflect on behaviours that will hopefully enable the processing of what has or is happening and help adjustment.

With change, it is easy to lose connection with ourselves and feel overwhelmed and anxious. Self-esteem and confidence can be lost making the smallest of day-to-day challenges feel impossible.

We offer a space of safety and compassion where we can work to connect clients with themselves and others again. A space where clients feel heard and begin to remember what it feels like to just be themselves, without outside pressures and labels.

If you are wondering if therapy is the right route for you or a loved one, then call or email Try Talking now, we are happy to talk through how we work and how therapy can be such a valuable part of our self-care routine. Take some support and make positive changes in your life.
